The Dollar Discount

     Today was a pretty good day.  My goal was to find more pale plum and light plum yarn to continue my afghan.  I figured Wal-Mart would have it, but I was wrong!  I went everywhere I could think of that would sell yarn and made a great discovery, the Dollar Discount!  Just yesterday I bought Wool-Ease yarn and paid over four dollars for the skein.  I found the same yarn (different color of course) at the local Dollar Discount for only $1.50!  Granted they do not have a huge selection, but I definitely stocked up!  Who could resist?!?!  Needless to say, I did not work on my afghan today, but I did start on the pair of socks for the “Feet Need Socks” Crochet Along.  They are blue using the “Chunky” Wool-Ease yarn.  They are turning out ok, but hopefully they work (I used a different sized hook than what the pattern calls for!!!)
